The Beginning of our new life is in process, we have been planning this for a long time, working towards it for almost a year now and its finally coming together.

The plan is to FullTime RV travel for a minimum of 2 years.

Step 1: Purchase RV and Truck! nicknamed Boo and da Rougarou, (a nod to our Louisiana roots) (aka Beauty and the Beast, the names are cajun words for pretty girl and the swamp monster). We purchased a Grand Design Solitude 310GK.

Step 2: Get house ready to sell! It took us month to sort thru boxes that we moved from Louisiana. We had not unboxed a lot of things as we moved from a larger house to a smaller one and never had the room, so many things didn't get unboxed. We finally went thru them all, reduced, labeled items and reboxed things. Small repairs on the house and then its ready to put on the market.

Step 3: Sell house! We listed the house with a Realestate agent, she added to the website at 9pm one evening, by 8am the next morning the house was showing, we had or first offer at 9am, and within the first 24 hrs we had 4 offers. It sold way faster than we expected and we were thrilled.

Step 4: Move out! Due to a previously planned trip to Florida, we have only 3 weeks to move and have the house ready to close. We loaded up all our belonging in a moving truck, drove it to Central Texas, as the climate is dryer, less flooding and hurricanes. We thought things would fare better here.

Step5: Closing Day! Things progress as expected, very smooth. We sold the house to a friend of ours, she happened to be in the market, when our house came up for sale, she was the first one texting me at 8:00am, asking if she could view the house, the placed the best and first offer immediately. So happy for you Erin and Ken, we loved this house and feel very proud you are getting this gem!
